Ambler Exterior

Our Ambler client was seeking an exterior transformation to their outdated, early 1990s home that included both functionality and aesthetics. The Harth team offered a variety of solutions that maximized impact while minimizing cost. The existing stucco was replaced with a beautiful two-tone combination of Hardie Board Monterey Taupe lap board siding and Navajo Beige trim for peace of mind regarding water intrusion concerns. Structural issues and the desire for a low maintenance rear deck led to the replacement of the existing worn wood with TimberTech composite decking and Radiance rail system. A new French door from the kitchen to the deck completed the refreshed appearance of the rear façade. To further address the concern for exterior water intrusion, a beautiful new portico with metal standing seam roof replaced the existing front façade entry features. The solid, raised panel front door was replaced with a new Provia leaded glass door with sidelites and large picture window above. Epoxy coating on the garage floor conceals the stained and dirty concrete and gives the space a brand-new feel. The family’s renovated exterior now has contemporary curb appeal and stylish new detailing to enjoy practically and visually for decades to come!
