Our North Wales clients wanted a fresh, new kitchen aesthetic while being mindful of budget and limited by a small footprint. A large island with improved functionality was essential along with the removal of their existing, traditional style cabinetry. By relocating their appliances, we eliminated a bank of cabinets and increased the depth and layout of their island. The new floor plan has increased efficiency and gives the kitchen an open, spacious feel. Creative use of stock cabinetry in both the kitchen and adjacent two-sided dining room cabinetry helped minimize cost while incorporating the clients’ preferences in modernized features. Crisp white cabinetry, gloss white backsplash subway tile in a herringbone pattern, and in-cabinet accent lighting all complement the spacious new feel of the kitchen. Thoughtful accessories and refinished hardwood floors further assist in achieving a fresh, polished look. Large statement island pendants added the finishing touch!
