Like many individuals, our Fort Washington clients came to us with a cramped kitchen and unused formal dining room. We removed a 20’ long bearing wall and installed a new semi-fluish steel beam to fully open up the first floor, yet still support the second floor. The new spacious and functional kitchen incorporates a gorgeous island with an apron front sink and seating. The 48” Wolf range and decorative metal vent hood is now the focal point of the space! Along with the kitchen, we designed a large walk-in pantry with frosted glass double pocket doors that create a 5’ wide opening for total access. Cabinets, counters, and open shelving complete the pantry making it the perfect prep/storage area!
