Our Ambler client returned to us seeking further services, this time a full renovation of their dated home exterior. They also requested a pool cabana addition for the new pool they wanted to have installed. Harth collaborated with Crystal Clear Signature Pools and created an outdoor pool cabana that integrates perfectly into the layout of their home with a fresh modern appeal.
Existing stucco and stone on the home exterior were updated with two complimentary Hardie Board tones and siding patterns. We broke up the vastness of the large front elevation by accenting the front door and garage windows with metal standing seam roofs with cabled overhangs. Exterior and interior aesthetic improvements were accomplished by replacing the dated curved clerestory windows in the Family Room with new squared off windows. Curb appeal was further boosted by expanding the garage and adding a trio of eye-catching new stained garage doors.
The pool cabana was designed with a high ceiling featuring large openings above the beams flanked with faux stained wood boards. These openings accentuate the stained wood plank ceiling and add warmth to the space. Textural appeal and focal interest were created by locating a stone accent wall behind the bar area and island. The island features a striking black honed granite counter with mitered waterfall sides and a rich herringbone wood pattern in the knee space highlighted by recessed lighting. The neutral palette with a mixture of wood tones, stacked stone, and contemporary black accents is inviting and beautifully coordinates with the home’s new exterior. The design of the pool cabana flows gracefully into the gorgeous new pool and is a dream oasis space to enjoy for both relaxing and entertaining for years to come!
