Our Collegeville clients were seeking a large, open-concept kitchen and wanted to eliminate their seldom-used formal dining room so their kitchen could be expanded. By demolishing the existing wall between the dining room and the kitchen, we added approximately 140 square feet to the kitchen and introduced new features. The transformed space now features improved traffic flow, a spacious island for entertaining, a trio of windows that flood the room with natural light and scenic views, and a hidden coffee bar.
The focal point is the eye-catching Thermador rangetop, artisan hood with light gray plaster finish, and full-height backsplash with shallow shelves. Earth tones with gray accents perfectly complement the gorgeous Oyster White marble countertops, and the mix of gold and copper metals add warmth and sophistication. Cabinetry includes glass doors, floating shelves, and wall cabinets that extend to the countertop.
This successful remodel will serve our clients for many years with its efficient and effective use of space, durable yet beautiful materials, and timeless and elegant aesthetic!
