Our Chestnut Hill clients wanted an updated kitchen that was functional, but still matched the quaint charm of their existing home. We removed a wall separating the kitchen and dining rooms that made the kitchen feel tight with little room for storage cabinets. With the wall eliminated, we gained the needed space to expand the kitchen into the dining room, while giving each space an open and unified feel. A new peninsula with seating provides both added storage and functionality. The green painted tall and upper cabinets, along with the warm stained base cabinets, pay tribute to our clients’ beautiful garden just outside the sink’s window by pulling the outdoor elements into the new space. We couldn’t be happier with how this space turned out!
The remodel included their adjacent laundry, mudroom and powder room. These redesigned spaces are great examples of how to amplify storage and function with very little square footage. The home’s 2nd floor guest bath was renovated as well with new tile, fixtures and a furniture-piece vanity. All beautiful, extremely functional new spaces that our clients will enjoy for years to come!
