This Conshohocken house had been our clients’ beloved home for over a decade, but its layout was no longer able to accommodate their large extended families for get-togethers. To create a better flow for entertaining, we designed a plan that would enlarge the kitchen by opening up the wall between the original space and the dining room. A new, expansive island now provides lots of seating and prep space, while a beautiful beverage area invites guests to pour their favorite drink. A gorgeous patterned backsplash tile is now the main attraction of this fantastic space! We also added a much-needed landing zone and walk-in pantry as the finishing touches in this spacious remodel.
Upstairs, both the primary and hall bathrooms received updates as well! While no plumbing fixtures moved, we were able to enlarge the existing cramped shower and replace the oversized tiled tub deck with a free-standing unit in the primary. The hall bathroom received a full cosmetic makeover complete with new tile, fixtures and cabinetry. Fantastic new spaces for everyone in the family to enjoy!
