Our Flourtown clients needed more functional space for their laundry room. When they originally came to us, their washer and dryer were located in a small closet on the second floor. By taking space from their existing five-stall garage, we were able to design and build an interior addition which now is home to their vibrant laundry room! This new space has plenty of storage and countertop space as well as open shelves for laundry baskets and custom drying racks. While we were there, we also remodeled their existing mudroom. A new bench with hooks was installed around an existing exposed stone wall making it the focal point of the space. A coat closet was rebuilt and now serves as a pantry “overflow” closet. An electric collar-operated doggie door was added as well for our client’s furry friends! The smallest changes can really make all the difference. Our clients absolutely love their new laundry and mudroom!
