Our Jenkintown clients came to us having recently moved in to the home. After living with the spaces they knew the flow of the house was not right for them and their young family. They also wanted to address the outdated interior and bring in their own unique aesthetic. We endeavored to make the main living space functional for the active family who enjoys unwinding together by playing family board games, watching tv, and swimming in the backyard pool. We were able to provide storage in the main living space for the games, update the fireplace, replace the flooring, and include wood beams to bring the room together. All of the windows and doors were replaced as well but we made sure to keep functional sliding doors to the backyard so that the space is now a great transition to the yard. We remodeled each of the children’s bathrooms to fit their style as well as the powder room. We adjusted the entry to the dining room and included a barn door to provide privacy to that part of the house when needed. What a transformation!
