Our Lansdale clients came to us looking to renovate their existing split-level home. The main level of the house was divided by one bearing wall that separated the living room from the kitchen. This made the kitchen feel extremely cramped and tight. By removing the wall and installed a new dropped beam, we were able to fully open up the main living level to create a “great room” feel. Our clients wanted to preserve their existing kitchen perimeter cabinetry so we installed a new accent painted island with seating to compliment what was already there. We also were able to move their fridge and create a new smaller bar area with open shelving and a beverage fridge! Another impactful change was removing two existing windows and replacing them with a new sliding door with integrated blinds leading to a new landing and patio below. The flow from the interior to exterior is now completely open and easy to navigate!
