Our Maple Glen clients love entertaining, especially in the summer! Unfortunately, their home was not equipped for large gatherings. Their existing kitchen was cramped and pathways were narrow while their dining room was spacious and used as an office. Our first floor design involved removing the bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room and swapping the two spaces! The new floor plan feels more open and cohesive with daylight across the spaces. The kitchen is expansive, functional and features an island with seating and large windows at the sink. The dining room includes a substantial reclaimed barnwood table. We even had room to design built-in full depth pantry cabinets, a wet bar and a tucked-away desk area. The new space is fresh and contemporary with white finishes and stainless steel, blue, and black accents. It is fit for any host!

Additionally, their primary bath received a makeover as well. The large, under-utilized tiled tub deck and tub were removed and replaced with a sleek free-standing fixture. The toilet was rotated with a new storage cabinet and open shelving encasing it. We were able to expand the vanity area as well as the shower which now includes an extended rain head and recessed niche. There’s now a perfect spa-like oasis right in their own home!
