Our Plymouth Meeting client is an avid cook who was seeking to update, enlarge, and create better flow in her kitchen. The successful transformation began with the removal of the wall between her existing kitchen and dining room. This captured ample space to create a much larger, open kitchen complete with two islands, a 48” refrigerator/freezer combination, vast pantry cabinets, and a beverage center.  Separate zones make it easy for more than one cook to work at a time: very important when hosting large family get-togethers and holidays. With the kitchen expansion taking over the existing dining room, the underused formal living room was converted to their new dining room for the sit-down holiday dinners. Custom two-tone inset cabinets, mixed with maintenance-free quartz countertops, and new hardwood floor throughout provide aesthetic continuity to the remodel areas, making this new space stunning as well as easy to maintain. Hand-made tiles are featured at the range backsplash providing an eye-catching focal point to the spacious and beautiful new kitchen.
