There has been a lot of talk recently about clean air and climate change. Regardless of your stance on the issue, there is one thing we can all agree on; Remodeling has a bad reputation of being a dusty endeavor.
Our clients have told us countless stories of filthy ductwork blowing unclean air around the house for months, if not years following a remodel. We’ve even heard of Grandma’s fine china having a nice layer of drywall dust on it, following a Master Bathroom remodel!
There’s filthy window screens, scratched hardwood floors, chipped granite counters, clogged filters for the furnace, etc. The list goes on and on! You name it, we have listened to it over and over. So, is there such thing as a “clean” remodeling project?
If the answer you have been hearing is no, you are likely talking to the wrong remodeler. There are so many products at our disposal to keep our jobs clean! There are things as simple as magnetic covers for vents and options as high tech as air scrubbers that clean the air with HEPA filtration while we work. Plastic walls with zipper doors and high quality floor protection that can withstand having a gallon of paint spilled on it are additional solutions as well.
If you have experienced anything other than a clean remodel, we should have a conversation before you embark on your next project.
