Those of us who have either attempted to learn golf, or have played golf for decades, certainly know how frustrating a day on the golf course can be. You can take thousands of dollars in lessons and still manage to take out a window on one of those fine homes on the fairway.

Why is golf so frustrating? It’s because you’ve put your heart and soul into it, practiced tirelessly, spent tons of cash to play some of the more challenging courses, invested in some of the finest clubs and shoes and even challenged some of your closest friends out on the course. Regardless of all these efforts, you still can’t shoot better than 10 over par; Lord help us all!

Those of us who have taken on remodeling projects without the necessary planning and guidance have likely experienced the same frustrations. Why would anyone pursue a small or large scale remodel without taking all the same steps you would to ensure a successful round of golf?

If you want to have a successful remodel, the approach is quite similar. You need coaching. You need to invest in design services to help you tailor the remodel to your lifestyle. You need to select the right materials to create a cohesive design. It may seem cumbersome at first but these things are absolutely necessary if you don’t want your remodel to end up in the rough with no clubhouse in sight.
