Looking for something to do with your family and/or friends this weekend? The Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival will take place this Sunday, May 19th from 11am to 5pm. Come one, come all to the 8000 through 8600 blocks of Germantown Avenue!
The festival is a gathering of hundreds of vendors and trades that specialize in everything having to do with the home, both inside and out. Festivities extend from Willow Grove Avenue to the Top of the Hill and include a Kid’s Area with lots of inflatable fun, food and beverage vendors and live music at either end of the Avenue. You can find handmade furniture, live edge wood tables and just about anything else you could think of. Additional vendors and activities include:
-Landscape, lawn & tree care, garden sculpture & garden displays, heirloom vegetable plants, bee keeping, flowering baskets, terrariums and more
-Home design, hand-made furniture, quilts, jewelry, clothing, arts & collectibles
-Subaru car display, presented by Glanzmann Subaru
-B101.1 FM Activity Booths
-Yurt Village at Weavers Way Coop and Chilly Banana Food Truck
-8000 Block Activations
-Back Yard Oasis sponsored by Summer Classics and Burke Brothers Landscape Design at 8040 Germantown Avenue

-Live music on two stages: Variable Elements, Zydeco-a-Go-Go, Dukes of Destiny, Ear Me Now
-Friends of the Chestnut Hill Library will once again be hosting a Book Sale
-Lots of delicious foods, this festival gives you a great opportunity to sample some of Chestnut Hill’s wonderful food…Barry’s Buns, Bredenbeck’s Bakery, Campbell’s Place, Chestnut Hill Brewery, Fiesta, Cosimo’s Pizza Cafe, McNally’s Tavern, Iron Hill Brewery, Chestnut Grill & Sidewalk Cafe, Tavern on the Hill, Paris Bistro & Jazz Cafe, Poppy’s Café and Weavers Way Coop. And, of course, popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, baked goods, soft pretzels and more.
