One of the most frequently asked questions when we meet with folks considering a Kitchen Remodel is “What do we do without a Kitchen?” It’s a great question and one could respond in many ways. My first instinct is to just eat out for every meal but with two kids under the age of three, there are not too many places that fit our family’s criteria, nor are they interested in seeing us more than once a week! Chances are you have homework, after school activities, work of your own to do, as well as a household to manage – eating out a few times a week is simply not an option.
We are slammed with Kitchen remodels all summer because our clients simply have more options. Not only can they spend some time at the beach or enjoy some outdoor dining, they can use the grill! We’re talking paper plates, utensils you can wash in the laundry sink and of course, a couple of refreshing adult beverages to keep you company grill-side.

You need to retain a Design-Build Firm to create a layout that functions for your family and fits the aesthetic of your home. You need to make close to 100 design related decisions and you need all of this packed together so you have a true understanding of the investment that is required to get you there. For most of our clients, this is a twelve week process. Following the completion of design there are permit packages to submit and numerous long lead items to order.
You really need four months to go from the start of design to the start of construction so if you are eager to enjoy the summer months while the Kitchen is transformed, the time to start is now.
