Our Chestnut Hill clients came to us in need of updating their recently purchased “chateauesque” home. This project consisted of renovating a majority of the first floor. While no structural walls were affected, the entire home received a full aesthetic change. Stunning white oak flooring was installed throughout with an accent herringbone pattern in the front entry. The now show-stopping kitchen incorporates custom white cabinetry, honed marble countertops and full height backsplashes, paneled appliances and a gorgeous black feature wall incorporating a new Lancanche range. Adjacent to the kitchen is a two story family room with new millwork and stone surrounding the existing gas fireplace.

Throughout the remainder of the home the mudroom was also refinished with new cubbies and pantry cabinets. New paint and applied moldings were added throughout to give each space personality and depth. An unused open room towards the other end of the home was redesigned to be a full bar equipped with a wine fridge, cigar humidor and ice maker, not to mention plenty of open shelving for liquor bottles! Every room now has a functional purpose and looks absolutely beautiful!
