High-Impact Bathrooms
It’s no secret that kitchens and bathrooms are among the most popular areas homeowners choose to renovate—and for good reason. These high-traffic spaces need to work for busy families. As you search for “remodeling contractors in my area” remember that our designers know their way around a bathroom and can find the right solution for you. We can make impactful upgrades without having to move any plumbing, or totally rethink your space and make it into a brand new, luxurious sanctuary.
Recently, we upgraded a client’s primary and hall bathrooms while keeping their original footprints. In the primary, we enlarged the (very) cramped shower stall and replaced the oversized tiled tub deck with a gorgeous freestanding soaking tub. A double vanity features plenty of closed storage, and a natural color palette makes the whole space feel refreshing.

In the hall bath, a fun, blue-and-white patterned floor tile ties in nicely with a blue subway tile accent in the shower, adding interest and depth to the space. There was room enough for another double vanity here, this time with cabinets in a light wood to open up the room. A neutral, textured backsplash and a sliding glass shower door make the space feel open and airy.

Kitchens You’ll Never Want to Leave
From hosting delicious dinners to homework around the island, kitchens do a lot of work. Our recent clients were outgrowing their well-loved house, where the kitchen and dining areas were no longer able to accommodate their large family gatherings. Our kitchen remodeling team opened up the space by removing a wall between the original kitchen and dining room. We added a new large island that seats six and a spacious beverage area around the corner for guests to mingle before dinner is served. An absolutely stunning patterned backsplash tile serves as the focal point, adding depth and interest to the space, while blue lower cabinets and gold hardware give a rich, warm feel. Wooden open shelving around the beverage bar provides a spot for favorite items to shine. For more functionality, we built a custom landing zone and a walk-in pantry with plenty of storage space.

Outdoor Living Areas
From summer parties to firepit gatherings on chilly fall evenings, outdoor living areas give your even more space to enjoy. One homeowner asked us to extend the outdoor living area next to his pool to create a year-round party spot to entertain family and friends, day or night.

An Outdoor Elements louvered roof system, ceiling fan, adjustable LED lighting and two heaters give the new patio the flexibility to keep guests comfortable no matter what the weather, while a wall-mounted TV, bar, and seating area with firepit table make for the ultimate spot to watch the game. An outdoor kitchen complete with a sink, built-in grill, granite countertops and lots of closed storage are a home chef’s dream.

To integrate and upgrade the existing pool area we built an outdoor shower and changing room, which allows guests to move seamlessly from swimming to socializing.

Historical Homes Handled with Care
At Harth, we feel lucky to work in an area so steeped in history, and we love the opportunity to help give historical homes a refresh designed to last for generations to come. Our talented team of craftsmen knows how much your legacy property means to your family—and we are committed to handling restorations and updates with the utmost care.
When searching for kitchen and bath remodeling contractors, these homeowners asked us if we could do a creative refresh of the already-stunning stone carriage house that sat on their historic property. Once converted to a garage, our clients instead envisioned it as a flexible indoor/outdoor living space that incorporated one of their home dreams—a dedicated bakery!

Bifold exterior doors create an easy flow from a stone patio right into the new bakery area, which features built-in ovens, a spacious island for rolling dough, and a big harvest table for family and friends to taste test new recipes. Interior bifold doors lead to a spacious pantry, keeping all essential ingredients within easy reach. Rather than lay flooring, we opted to instead paint a custom pattern onto the existing concrete. Rich in history, but ready for modern living, this space is truly special.
