Our Philadelphia clients purchased this gorgeous historical home that had an original carriage house that was converted into a garage. They decided instead of utilizing garage storage they opted to turn it into an indoor/outdoor living space that incorporated a new bakery! The entrance to this bakery showcases new gorgeous black bifold exterior doors. Instead of a traditional tile floor we designed a custom painted cement floor instead. Sliding the new iron and wood barn doors open will take you into the new walk-in pantry that is well equipped with all the necessary kitchen gadgets a bakery requires!

We also updated a portion of the exterior as well. New iron railings were installed around the rear of the property. An existing roof deck was upgraded with a contemporary fiberglass decking too.

Another portion of this project included their children’s hall bathroom. We installed a new free standing tub with a stunning deep blue subway tile surround that transitions into a new wainscot. A moody wallpaper was also installed. Special elements were included to keep the space “kid friendly” such as the smaller toilet and built-in vanity step stool!
